In reply to 'r. Grindle's letter of the 23rd inst.,
1o. 34004/1918, transmitting a copy of a despatch from the Governor of Hong Kong with regard to the grant of a perit for the remission from this country to Hong Kong of a sum of money due to Miss A. Fairall from the Ryde and Isle of Wight Permanent Benefit Building Society, I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury to state that there would appear to be no objection to the remittance to iss Fairall of the sum of £686. 14. 0 which is due to her, and that the anger of the Ryde & Isle of Wight Permanent Benefit Building Society is being informed
accordingly.
